CTR Lda was established in 1991 by technicians with a wide experience
in the electronic components industry.
The company’s main activity during the first years was mainly the production
of components and sub-assembly of electrical household appliances.
Subsequently and by combining the company’s know-how in the manufacture
of heating elements, such as fixed resistors and PTC thermistors, with the highly
developed local industry of moulds and plastic injection, the company began the
production of electric diffusers used for insecticide and air freshener domestic
applications.
With the significant growing market, interest and trend by consumers in having
more quality life and comfort in personal environments, providing electrical
airfresheners solutions became an important business area to CTR.
Investments, R&D, optimized products, new raw materials, and innovating patents
are just some of efforts carried out by CTR on this segment.
CTR Lda in business-to-business relation operates as a contract manufacturer
offering each customer unique, exclusive and innovating solutions to brand holders.
Location
From the headquarters in Parede-Cascais, since May 2003 CTR´s
new factory is located 25km north-east of Lisbon in Samora Correia.
There CTR manages an average workforce of 130 employees, all
dedicated to the manufacture of high quality products.
CTR´s production units comprises approximately 4,500 square meters of
manufacturing space, combined with some of the latest manufacturing equipment.
The factory provides good working conditions and higher production
capacity and subsequently satisfies the needs and will of the
company’s development.
Running when necessary 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 day
a year to produce around 10 million diffusers annually.
